Here's a snapshot of some of the most important issues
for the residential construction industry.
October has finally arrived - and in just over two weeks, the use of recreational cannabis will be legal in Canada.

While Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 will be an historical day for Ontario and all of Canada, RESCON is concerned that Ontario is not ready for how this will impact workplaces across the country as regulatory decisions in Ontario are still in the process of being rolled out.

That's why RESCON's Amina Dibe and Andrew Pariser wrote this article, which was on the cover of ReNew Canada magazine's September/October issue.

There will be a steep learning curve for all employers across the province. In an attempt to mitigate uncertainty, RESCON is offering an alcohol and drug policy template from Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP to RESCON members.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and share information that is pertinent to our members, key stakeholders and newsletter readers.

For more information on the policy template or about Oct. 17, please contact Andrew Pariser at
